Has anyone else noticed how cupcakes have suddenly become oh so couture? Perhaps it’s the influence of Cupcake Wars and their crazy ingredient challenges, but lately bakeries have been producing some very unique flavors. And although Green Tea Cupcakes with Wasabi buttercream sounds incredibly interesting, I think I still prefer the classics. But that doesn’t mean I stick to vanilla and chocolate. One of my favorite ways to develop new recipes is to utilize classic flavors in a new way. Like these S’more Cupcakes. Take a rich chocolate cake, a fluffy marshmallow frosting & the sweet golden crunch of a graham cracker topping, and you have a classic childhood favorite transformed into something new.
